Exhibition 2
An eclectic collection of art to suit all tastes.
Bridge Gallery showcases the work of international and national artists who welcome the opportunity to exhibit in Monmouth. Raising awareness of their own work which hangs alongside many local award winning artists.
These exhibitions also highlight how many local artists have their roots or family ties within the Wye Valley and the surrounding counties.

A changing collection of originals and prints from Welsh and border county artists.

Within the June & July exhibition iBridge Gallery also has a large range of work from acclaimed artists Geofrey Vaughan, Paul Weston and Doug Eaton.

Michelle currently lives and works in the Welsh borders, drawing inspiration from her everyday surroundings, and interpreting what she sees in her own sometimes quirky way.
'My approach is to try and convey a spontanaiety and freshness in my work which can only be achieved I think, by working from and developing a concept, or direct from subject.' My paintings are usually either worked up from a sketch or sketch idea and usually evolve to a point where they seem `finished` to me. The enduring goal is to try and communicate a feeling or memory,or perhaps a nostalgia found in everyday subjects .'

Emotive gold leaf prints from caligrapher Tess Cooling.
